This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Zero Point Labs LLC ("Zero Point Labs LLC," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you visit https://www.sponsor.fit, create an account, publish an athlete profile, sponsor an athlete, purchase merchandise, or otherwise interact with sponsor.fit (the "Service").
This Policy applies to personal information we process as a controller or business. Where we process information solely on behalf of another party, that party's privacy policy applies.

6. Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information on the following bases:
- Contract — to provide the Service you request (accounts, profiles, payments facilitation);
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent fraud, improve features, and understand aggregated usage, balanced against your rights;
- Consent — for non-essential analytics cookies and optional marketing;
- Legal obligation — tax, accounting, regulatory, and law-enforcement requirements;
- Vital interests or public interest — where applicable and permitted by law.
9. International Data Transfers
Zero Point Labs LLC is based in the United States. Personal information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where we or our service providers operate.
When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and supplementary measures where required.
Stripe and other providers maintain their own transfer mechanisms as described in their privacy policies.
10. Data Retention
- Account and profile data — while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward;
- Transaction records — as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance (often seven years or longer where required);
- Analytics events — in aggregated or pseudonymous form for operational reporting;
- Support and legal correspondence — as needed to resolve inquiries and defend legal claims;
- Backups — may persist for a limited period after deletion.
11. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

In addition to the rights above, you may:
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., ICO in the UK or your EU member-state authority);
- Request details about transfers and safeguards.
13.1 Stripe as independent controller
When you onboard to Stripe Connect or pay through Stripe, Stripe acts as an independent controller (or business) of payment and identity data under Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive limited status and identifier information from Stripe to operate the Service.
14. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit under CPRA.
Categories collected in the last 12 months may include identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation (approximate), and professional information you provide (sport/athlete profile).
To exercise rights, email privacy@sponsor.fit or use the contact details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Shine the Light: California residents may request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes once per year; we do not make such disclosures.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy with an updated date and, where required, provide additional notice.
Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
